Drama Program Unleashes Unknown Talents

If you were to walk into the Aromas Grange Hall between three and five o'clock on a Wednesday afternoon, you would most likely hear the sounds of a drama production in the works. You might hear Cassie Kovarik or Jeanine Mortan directing small skits, groups of students rehearsing, or another group practicing their dance routine. The program began on July 10, with an initial turnout of five or six unsure teenagers. Actually, they were only there because their parents insisted they come. Now, students look forward to each Wednesday and arrive excited and ready for action. The most recent afternoon held approximately nine mentally prepared and active students, with three others who weren't able to attend. There are currently ten students enrolled, with around four girls and six guys. The production is scheduled for sometime in late August, with no definite date as of yet. It will be something like a Saturday Night Live show, with one main story line and other small skits and commercials that interlock with the story. Interested? They are preparing for the dress rehearsal, but if you are interested in joining, contact the Aromas Grange. If you are available on a Wednesday evening in late August, I strongly recommend you attend the production. It is expected to be fabulous!
